New management and team take over on Monday 12/10/20/20

The club would like to 𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗲 the new 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗺 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗣𝗼𝗹𝘁𝗼𝗻 𝗔𝗙𝗖 (Billingham Synthonia Development Team).

👔Darren (𝗦𝗸𝗲𝗹𝗹𝘆) Murrell, 𝗟𝗲𝘄𝗶𝘀 𝗠𝗰𝗴𝗿𝗮𝘃𝗲𝘆 & 𝗠𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘄 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗱𝗺𝗮𝗻.

The Team will be taking over after Saturday's game away at Sunderland West End.

Darren, 37 has years of experience both youth & adult level with ties to the Synners first team, he has a great relationship with the Synners Management Steve Bell & Paul Crager which will be a great advantage in helping the boys improve and push for a place in the first-team squad.

Asked his thoughts about joining the development team, Darren had this to say “𝗪𝗲 𝗰𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝘄𝗮𝗶𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗴𝗲𝘁 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗱, firstly before football, we are looking to help the lads both on and off the pitch and help give them the best guidance we can in their young adult lives.

𝗜’𝗺 𝗯𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝘄𝗼 𝘀𝘂𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗯 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗴 𝗰𝗼𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝗮𝗱𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄𝗹𝗲𝗱𝗴𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝘆𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗸𝗲𝘆. They will be superb for the lad's development. Matthew is only 37 he is a UEFA b coach who has coached with me for numerous years. He has coached at Middlesbrough FC along with scouting for the club so he has a superb knowledge of players under 23 in the area. 𝗛𝗶𝘀 𝗰𝗼𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗯𝗿𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝘀𝗼 𝗜’𝗺 𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗠𝗮𝘁𝘁𝘆 𝗴𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗱𝗼𝘄𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗺.

Lewis who is also only 30 is a superb coach with 13 years coaching experience. He also has scouting experience with Middlesbrough FC and is still running very successful North Riding League winning teams in the TJFA 1st divisions. I have seen his coaching sessions and they're very much what we are looking for based around possession football and being confident on the ball. 𝗟𝗲𝘄𝗶𝘀 𝗮𝗴𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝗵𝗮𝘀 𝗮 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄𝗹𝗲𝗱𝗴𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝘆𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗮𝗴𝗲𝘀 𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗽 𝘄𝗲 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗮𝗻’𝘁 𝘄𝗮𝗶𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗴𝗲𝘁 𝗶𝗻𝘃𝗼𝗹𝘃𝗲𝗱”.

Asked his thoughts on the current squad and plans Darren replied” I know the team, we have played them pre-season with my Sunday team Borowalkers and we had a few of the Synners first team playing for us.

𝗧𝗵𝗲𝘆 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗮 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗴𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗯𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗵 𝗼𝗳 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝘆𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝘄𝗵𝗼 𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝘆 𝗴𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗳𝗼𝗼𝘁𝗯𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝘀𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁’𝘀 𝗴𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁. 𝗜 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗯𝗲 𝗯𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮 𝗳𝗲𝘄 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝘆𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗮𝗰𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗺𝘆 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗮𝗱𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗾𝘂𝗮𝗱, 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝘆𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗜’𝗺 𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗹𝗮𝗱𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗲𝗻𝗷𝗼𝘆 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝘆𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵.

We are young coaches with great experience, we believe this will also help our progression through Saturday football. We will have a great laugh, we can’t wait to get the season going and hopefully it’s a successful one on and of the pitch for the boys.
