The game was a tough one we had new face's in and the goal scorer, Reece Breslin scored the only goal in the game, however, it was a nice little one/two with Ben Henderson.

 

The first 11 where a mix up from the old AFC and new recruits the new manager (Darren (Skelly) Murrell) brought in they did blend together quite well, and the coming weeks will tell.



The Man of the Match was 𝗠𝗶𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗲𝗹 𝗝𝗼𝘀𝗲𝗽𝗵 playing for the 𝗱𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗺 while he gets fitness he (Josh) being in his late 30’s Josh give a good lesson to the youth within the team and deserved his man of the Match award.



The manager of Polton AFC said it was great to get off to 𝗮 𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁 the lads worked their socks off limiting Ryhope to maybe 1 shot all game, we could have come away with a much bigger victory but 𝟯 𝗽𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴!

 

I feel a great bond between these lads already, 𝗜'𝗺 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝗼𝗻 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗯𝗼𝘆𝘀!





𝗣𝗼𝗹𝘁𝗼𝗻 𝗔𝗙𝗖 is the development team for Billingham Synthonia. Playing in the 𝗪𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗴𝘂𝗲 𝗗𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝟮 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟬/𝟮𝟭. Home games take place in 𝗥𝗲𝗱𝗰𝗮𝗿 𝗧𝗦𝟭𝟬 𝟰𝗟𝗥

𝗣𝗼𝗹𝘁𝗼𝗻 𝗔𝗙𝗖 was founded to become a feeder team for the academy team Polton Allstars the Allstars are an under 18 nursery club team. 𝗣𝗼𝗹𝘁𝗼𝗻 𝗔𝗙𝗖 is its own club within a club and consists of players in the calibre of northern league standards with yes, a good number of them Allstars promoted from the academy.

So, all in all, he 𝗣𝗼𝗹𝘁𝗼𝗻 𝗔𝗙𝗖 team will be a senior side competing in the Wearside league come the 2020/21 season 𝗣𝗼𝗹𝘁𝗼𝗻 𝗔𝗙𝗖 will be a very competitive team and will be run in that spirit with the emphasis on winning promotion into the Wearside league first division.
