New Polton AFC manager 𝗗𝗮𝗿𝗿𝗲𝗻 (𝗦𝗸𝗲𝗹𝗹𝘆) 𝗠𝘂𝗿𝗿𝗲𝗹𝗹 and his team did themselves proud. Skelly arranged a friendly for his first get together as a team this in turn proved to be a game that suited everyone. The score looks flattering as TS3 proved to be a 𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗽𝗵𝘆𝘀𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲 and made it a 𝗰𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗴𝗮𝗺𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝘃𝗼𝗹𝘃𝗲𝗱 𝗶𝗻.

The score Polton AFC 5 (v) 2 TS3 we had some cracking goals coming from 𝗗𝘆𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗚𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗹𝗼 𝟮 one from a free-kick, 𝗕𝗲𝗻 𝗛𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻 𝟮 and 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗹𝘂𝘀 𝗞𝗲𝗿 a 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝗺𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗺 𝘄𝗵𝗼 𝗶𝘀 𝗮𝗻 𝗘𝘅 𝗬𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝗰𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗮𝗰𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗺𝘆 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝘆𝗲𝗿.

Was great for me, Matty & Lewis to meet some of the boys and run our eye over some of the players and make some plans for Saturday.

I have brought some ex academy players into the squad to add to the quality already there, everyone will get a chance to impress as we look to 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝗮 𝘀𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝘀𝘂𝗶𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗺.

The game was a short notice friendly against a very physical TS3 side which the boys stood up to which was pleasing

We kept swapping things about in the game trying different things and once the lads settled we played great football and scored some fantastic goals and came away with a well-deserved 5-2 victory but there is lots of work today so let’s not get carried away.

𝗗𝘆𝗹𝗮𝗻𝘀 2 strikes were brilliant and he nearly scored another world-class goal from 40 yards he was fantastic and has a brilliant attitude. 𝗕𝗲𝗻 through middle got 2 goals and 𝗵𝗲 𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗸𝘀 𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝗮 𝗰𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗴𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁 𝗽𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗹.

Look Everyone did well tonight and eventually played with a smile after telling to do so at half time, I think a few lads were a bit 𝘁𝗼𝗼 𝗲𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗼 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝘄𝗵𝗶𝗰𝗵 𝗶𝘀 𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲.

We will have a chat and we look forward to Saturday's game, Ryhope always has very good teams at any level so we really need to be sharp and focused to fight with everything we have to take the 3 points.
