Polton AFC is the development team for Billingham Synthonia. Polton AFC was founded to become a feeder team for the academy team Polton Allstars the Allstars are an under 18 nursery club team. Polton AFC is its own club within a club and consists of players in the calibre of northern league standards with yes, a good number of them Allstars promoted from the academy. So, all in all, he Polton AFC  team will be a senior side competing in the Wearside league come the 2020/21 season Polton AFC  will be a very competitive team and will be run in that spirit with the emphasis on winning promotion into the Wearside league first division.
